Corps of Engineers' statistical records indicate a 500% increase in visitors to
the lake in the last 10 years. Preliminary review of home ownership records from
various communities along the shoreline indicate significant weekend residents
and retirees relocating from Saint Louis, Chicago, Kansas City, Wichita, Oklahoma
City, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and Memphis. Additionally Corps of Engineers
Statistical Information and State and County Boat Registration Information are
available to provide direct marketing data to parties already visiting Beaver
Lake. |
